Britain’s approved mortgages fall by a quarter in March
(LONDON) The number of mortgages approved for house purchases in Britain fell by a quarter year-on-year in March, the British Bankers’ Association (BBA) said yesterday, casting doubt on a sustained pick-up in home sales.
